Augmented Reality travel apps

This article analyses four new travel app like WikiTude, Yelp Monocle, Google Search App, Metro AR Pro that use augmented reality. In particular I find interesting the first one, WikiTude.

What you might call an AR aggregator, WikiTude relies on tons of other content sources (like Citysearch and Wikipedia, as well as input from other users) to serve up info on just about anything you like. From the launch page, you pick specific categories (restaurants, accommodations, games, sights and so on) to explore. Wikitude can be used also to build new contents from common supports through video augmentation. A new source for brand and businesses that want to improve their customers.
